Spring round up

Thank you for joining us! Grab a coffee and settle in for a recap of everything that Spring had to offer at CDP.

Bluebell mini sessions

This year’s bluebells in Hungerford were absolutely breathtaking, even if they did make an early surprise appearance! I loved switching things up this season by running mini-sessions across individual days. It gave me the perfect opportunity to ensure everyone got their ideal slot.

A huge thank you to everyone who trusted me to capture your beautiful pets among the blooms. Welcoming back familiar faces and meeting wonderful new clients made it incredibly special, and the resulting galleries are simply stunning.

Balancing these sessions alongside my full-time job made for a whirlwind few weeks, but everything came together perfectly. All artwork is finalised and will be on its way very soon!

Don't miss the magic next year! Bluebell season is short and slots fill up fast. Click here to join the 2027 waitlist and be the first to know when bookings open.

Awards

March and April also brought some incredibly exciting news behind the scenes. I am absolutely thrilled to share that another five of my photographs were awarded the prestigious Bronze Bar! Photography is a continuous journey of learning and growing, and having my work recognised in this way fills me with an overwhelming sense of pride.

Believe it or not, one of these awards was for my first-ever action photo as a professional photographer. Before now, I have very much kept clear of anything that moves! So, Etta and I went down to the woods for a practice session, and I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. It’s now something that I can offer as standard in my portrait sessions.

Awards like these mean the world to me, but the true joy comes from knowing that the passion and dedication I pour into every single image shines through. Each award represents a quiet moment captured, a unique story told, and hours spent perfecting the craft to create something truly memorable for the families and pets I photograph.

This achievement wouldn’t be possible without all of you. Every time you trust me with your furry family members, you give me the creative freedom to create something beautiful, and for that, I am endlessly grateful. I can't wait to carry this wonderful momentum into the rest of the year!

New shoot location

Just when I thought I knew our local landscapes inside out, I recently discovered an absolute hidden gem of a location near Highclere, Berkshire. For those of us who lose our hearts to the quiet magic of nature, this place is nothing short of a dream. Walking through it feels like stepping straight into a storybook, completely filled with beautiful mossy logs, deep, enchanting dark woods, and towering alpine pines.

There is a breathtaking, timeless quality to this spot—it is basically "forever autumn," wrapped in rich earthy tones and a peaceful stillness all year round. It provides the most incredible, moody backdrop for photography, and I am already bursting with ideas for the deeply atmospheric and artistic portraits we can create here together.

This location is a busy one and probably not the best for our reactive friends.

A big thank you to my model Fen for helping us with this one.

Homeward bound!

The busy season didn't end with the bluebells, though, as May also brought around a very special tradition closer to home.

May also saw the horses undertake their biannual hike over to their summer grazing field. Luckily for our two retired racehorses—who aren't quite old enough to truly be retired just yet!—they handled the journey in their stride, as always.

I spent a wonderful couple of hours with them, just sitting quietly in the field and taking in the peaceful moment. It gave me the chance to capture some genuinely candid photos that we will definitely treasure forever. These artistic, concept-style pictures are truly where my heart lies in photography, and I really hope you’ll be seeing a bit more of these beautiful horses very soon.

Southern Counties Lost Dog Tracking

I recently had the privilege of capturing a truly special first: photographing the incredible team at Lost Dog Tracking. This wonderful organisation is run entirely by big-hearted volunteers who dedicate their time to bringing missing dogs safely back home to their families.

Amy from AJG Photography and I volunteered our time to build a library of images for them. These photos will help shine a light on their work across their website and social media platforms.

Please click the button below to visit their website and see the magic they do. If you can, give them a follow on social media or consider leaving a donation—every bit of support helps them keep reuniting families.

Wild flower mini sessions

It is almost time for another magical round of mini sessions here in Hungerford! I am so excited to connect with everyone already on my waitlist this week. I strictly limit these spots to keep them special, but there will be a few remaining slots if you want to snag one - click here, fill out the form and join the list.

These mini sessions are the perfect, bite-sized way to capture a moment in time. We spend 30 to 60 relaxed minutes together—never rushed—just focusing on fewer poses. You will get a beautifully curated, smaller gallery to choose from, making it ideal for capturing fleeting seasonal flowers, puppies with a short attention span, or trying out a session without committing to a full shoot.

Your booking fee includes 1 favourite digital image of your choice to keep, and you are always welcome to add more images or custom artwork to your collection later.
